Calgary’s Home Renovation & Improvement Team

If there’s one thing that the LRCH team is creating, it’s a positive client experience by offering expert craftsmanship, open communication, and value in design and budget. It’s this dedication to service and value that drives everything we do, including who we use as contractors. We are not a massive corporation, but a Calgary born and bred home renovation and addition company. Ready to go above-and-beyond, we’re eager to prove that your home renovation can be a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

LRCH Team

Meet Our Renovation Leads

At the helm of your LRCH team are David Litwiller himself and Paul Monk.

David Litwiller, Founder and Project Manager

David Litwiller formed Litwiller Renovations & Custom Homes to do one thing: provide superior craftsmanship and integrity in the professional renovation and construction industry. And with this deep-rooted philosophy, David has helped improve Calgary’s renovation industry for the past 40 years (but he’s not slowing down or stopping any time soon)! David believes in action with integrity, in adding value over excessive spending, in educating clients and industry partners alike, and in putting his money where his mouth is. After all, when you’ve completed as many renovations as David has, you know that he’s seen every kind of problem, designed a solution to move through it, and made the project come out better for it. This is knowledge that everyone should hear.

Over his career, David has developed a reputation as a skilled and imaginative contractor, while still focusing on his client service to meet or exceed their vision. It’s this dedication to quality, value, and service that allows him to transform people’s ideas into beautiful and functional homes.

When not renovating and helping Calgarians bring new life to their homes, he can be found riding his Harley Davidson, sometimes as far away as the Arctic Circle or Tropic of Cancer; puttering around his own home; or spending time with his grandchildren.

Paul Monk, Co-Owner and Project Manager

Coming to Canada from England, Paul Monk brings extensive carpentry, construction, and renovation experience to the LRCH team. As part owner of LRCH, Paul is no stranger to expertly working on historical and heritage renovation projects that require extra care to maintain the building’s integrity – a core service of LRCH. Invested in all of LRCH’s projects, Paul supports clients in seeing the bigger picture of their renovation, while managing all details of the project along the way. Working with clients to achieve their vision is what Paul enjoys most as they see their dream renovation happen before their very eyes. This commitment to service, support, and quality craftsmanship guides Paul in building LRCH alongside David.

The truth about Paul is that he knows the value of the little things – such as creating a safe and clean site throughout the project. What he wants is for clients to have great service and doing seemingly small things goes a long way to increasing their experience.

While supporting clients is a great achievement for Paul, he believes that his greatest accomplishment (so far) is moving to Canada from England in 2010 to build a future for his family. Here, he continues to remain active – especially with the mountains nearby – while enjoying the life he and his wife have built with their children.

Oscar

Oscar is LRCH’s Mascot. While he doesn’t contribute much to the designs and process, he certainly contributes to the company culture. In fact, when clients come to our office, he’s often the first to greet them at the door, ready for an ear scratch.
